Jeffrey Noyes Scher's "Reasons To Be Glad"

This film is wonderful, and I don't know much about it. Here's a 2001 profile of Jeffrey Noyes Scher.

I would have included this in my Toddler Arthouse Cinema series, but I have a vague fear that watching this would permanently destroy some important developing neural network. You know, like this.

Hi, thanks for the kind words and glad you like the movie. I made it almost thirty years ago, but it still makes me smile. It's the first film in a trilogy which includes "Milk of Amnesia" and also "Garden of Regrets". I've made a lot of movies since, dozens in fact. If you think this one endangers your vision you should see some others! There is a VHS compilation available from ReVoir USA. A PAL version is availible from ReVoir in Paris. If you like I'll send you something newer. Cheers! Jeff
