1960s-1970s Spanish Pharmaceutical Advertising

Every time I see that phantasmagoric Lunesta butterfly, I wonder why pharmaceutical ads are so hideous. Big Pharma could take a cue from the beautiful ads published in the 1960s and '70s in the Spanish magazine Clinica Rural, now seeing the light once more on this Flickr photo set.
